Much can be said about the mischievous African Green Vervet Monkey which was brought to the islands as a pet in the 17th or 18thcentury. St. Kitts and Nevis are two of the few Caribbean islands which have a large population of these wild monkeys. While the tourists may find them adorable and charming, the residents of SKN are often frustrated by their threat to local crops. I’m still working on ‘Monkey Do’!
