The lush, vibrant vegetation of the Caribbean has always been the backdrop to Lisa Quinn’s life. Born in Bermuda, she developed an early interest in the structure and dynamic colour contrasts of everything around her. She honed techniques that take the viewer into dramatically close, detailed studies of her observations that verge on the surreal.

Lisa is best known for the vibrancy and intensity of her large, bold, provocative, floral paintings and the rich colour palette used to depict a range of architectural styles…from the unique charm of Bermuda’s pastel-painted homes to the quaint, colourful houses of the Caribbean intricately trimmed in gingerbread ornamentation and the historic, weathered country houses of Provence. Lisa’s paintings have been enjoyed by a global audience and exist in many art collections worldwide.

Lisa studied at the Rhode Island School of Design, then at Moore College of Art and Design in Philadelphia where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree and Certification in Art Education. She returned home to teach in Bermuda’s secondary school system and opened her private, After School Art Programme. Lisa now paints full time and designs for her new product line.
