The worn, mottled, wooden shingles, the gentle flow of the curtain, the old shutters…I’m drawn in by these elements. This painting is part of a series I started years ago called, “Our Room”. The series always features a window with a curtain, from the vantage point of looking up. ‘Love Shack’ is from ‘Our Room’, St. Kitts.
