This is also one of my favourite paintings and favourite stories. Our neighbour, Mrs Hill, was walking home past our house, up the giant hill, and we offered her a ride. She was most grateful to accept the ride, then gifted us with a gorgeous orchid plant from her collection! The orchid blooms right on time every year!
